Oh how many times I have begun a blog post and then lost inspiration, track of thought, or questioned myself before getting to finish and share it. I’ve been on this blogging journey for oh, I don’t know, 6ish years, with tons of ideas, experiences and lessons to share with you, but the fear of being wrong and of disagreement have stopped me in my tracks more times than I can count.
As a writer who prefers peace and quiet to focus on the recording of my thoughts, motherhood also makes this process difficult. I sit down to write on a spontaneous whim of inspiration and my son’s radar goes off like crazy.
So from here on out, I’m just going to write. Share my experiences. My failures and victories. And you’ll either like it or you won’t. I’m not in the business of people pleasing, after all, I’m here to share my journey and inspire the world, one mom at a time.
Our journeys are filled with ups and downs, left and rights, mistakes and lessons, times of prosperity and falling flat on our faces. We often see peoples’ successes but not the work done behind the scenes that got them there. Nobody is right all of the time and everybody will not agree on everything. Everyone’s journey is different but many of the obstacles and lessons to be learned from them are generally the same.
