If you’ve ever joined a Network Marketing company and were told to make the famous list, chances are you have experienced MLM Phone Fear. You’re brand new, you have no idea what you’re doing, and all you know is you have this list of people to call and share your product or business opportunity with. You start to panic. What if they tell me it’s a scam? What if they say no? What if they laugh at me? All of these questions race through your mind within just seconds and you’re left paralyzed, too scared of the outcome to even attempt a coversation.
MLM Phone Fear is triggered by being attached to a yes or no, caring what the other person thinks of you, and/or being unprepared for whatever questions you might be asked. Chances are, you’ll experience plenty of resistance because the Network Marketing profession is greatly misunderstood and misrepresented, so take a deep breath and understand you are going to have to get uncomfortable, make plenty of mistakes, and keep going no matter how discouraged you get. the more calls you make, the easier it will get, and the more results you’ll see! One very real and although it doesn’t effect everyone, it is a huge problem if not dealt with quickly and correctly. Most people who experience it also have a hard time picking up the phone in other situations. The good news is, with a little bit of effort and willingness to be a complete mess for a little while, it can be overcome. The biggest thing to remember here is if you want to succeed in Network Marketing, you have to be willing to work at getting over MLM Phone Fear.
